Rush Hour...?

Yeah! Another rest day for me on 26th dec after long hours of standing guard duty at exxon mobil. Tough... 8 hour shift... the clock goes tick tick tick... and finally its 2pm, time for the changing of shift. I immediately change into my civilian clothes and rush back home becoz i'll be meeting my friends for an outing at east coast at 4pm. I rushed and rushed and when i'm ready, i called them and guess what, they're still playing some soccer shit game at norman's home. What the... Anyway, about the last post saying 2 ppl not going so sad stuff, i'm still hopeful this outing will turn out to be eventful.... yet, last minute afew more say they too tired from the few christmas parties the day before so... haiz... but we still went ahead anyway coz i already brought my rollerblades along. However, the rest all rent bikes and i'm the only one blading. You know how blades are hard to keep up the speed with bike, so they all just speed and i end up chasing after them most of the time... We went all the way to one end of the east coast park, but then soon after it started to rain, so we just sprint our way back to the bike shop. And the theory behind the speed of the bike and the blades blar blar blar... so i end up holding on their bike while dashing in the rain like mad dogs... howl!!! But we're still totally drenched in the end... The whole event isn't what we expected but don't know why we're still laughing and enjoying the unexpected. When we get to norman's car, he try to open a bottle of 7up, but end up wetting his pants with it thanks to daohao. haha.... Then, while opening the car door, it got stuck on the grass patch along the kerb... erm... Later we went to eat katong laksa, chit-chat for some time before making our way home. Well, most of the things are unexpected, but we still enjoyed from it and its definitely memoriable in a way. hee... hee...

Today is not my day

Today is the first time i take my TP, which is the driving test. And i failed........................ all i can say is today is not my day. I failed on the outside route and not the circuit within. Nothing special ever happen during my 101 times runthrough of the test routes and it must be on the test itself that all the 'special events' happens. As the test route is at the industrial area, i certainly cannot avoid the big lorries and their stupid drivers. On one of the minor road along my test route, one of those long lorries was trying to make a turn along the road, causing the traffic to halt for awhile, and while i was trying to follow behind a pickup infront of me to pass through by moving over to the oppsing lane, it couldnt be done, then another **** driver just keep on horning from behind me thinking i could not make the turn just because i'm still a learner driver.... Then, the tester pick up his pen and TICK... there goes my six points... And, i got another four points deducted just because my checking of blind spot wasn't 90 degree turning of head..... its all these minor things that that qualified drivers does everytime too, but the tester HAD to deduct.... Haiz..... don't want to dwell too much about it... If it isn't the fact that i went to my bed to lie to cool off and dozed off, i wouldn't have the mood to write this out, i'll have just thrown the whole computer to the floor.

A Sad News for Me

Today i heard a sad news.... Norman my friend tried to organise an outing for the group of friends we've met just not long ago in a children camp. we tried contacting a group of about 10 people whom we still keep in contact n at first the news i heard was all very on. All happily agreed and wanna come out. but just then, 2 of them suddenly say sorry got something on that day and are not going.... We cant just abandon the whole outing just because 2 of them cannot make it to the gathering... but i'm still quite sad that firstly they say can at first then change their decision after the rest say can. Secondly, they change their decision means that they put our gathering 2nd priority compared to the one they going... Although we are just friends that met not long ago and doesn't have a big space in their heart, but i'm still sad because of the fact that they do left us and our outing.............

Gone with the wind....

After my windsurfing lesson one month plus ago, i'm back for more! Today is my 'own time own target' windsurf. i can windsurf anywhere i want..... provided i can get back to the same part of shore where i start off. N guess what..... i couldn't do so... I got drifted sooo much by the waves and the wind until it was like way way WAY FAR on one side of the east coast park. It was not humanely possible anymore for me and my two friends liyang n kester to paddle or windsurf our way back to shore..... we were somehow considered stranded in the middle of the sea? ...S.O.S.... (not so extreme k dont think too far out) just having some difficulty returning back to the shore outside the east coast sea sports club. So the bum boat went to save us... hee :p Next time i should care more about the surroundings too rather than concentrating on the sail only. Everything got its first time so lesson learnt. But i still think the fault partly still lies at the wind which is very strong today and today is only my first session after the lesson. Got afew scars and bruises here and there too with a burnt body. Well... practise makes perfect, just go afew more times and i'll be better. :o

children camp... lah lah lalalalah lalah lalalalah...

yeah.... just came back from children camp as a volunteer. a well worth it experience. Mmh! If there was another one next year, n the same PPL was to participate, i wont hesitate to join again! Among the volunteers were group leaders, game masters, logistics, n afew staffs from the service centre. Mi n afew of my friends join as game masters. We think of the games, prepare them, n let the childrens play them. You see the childrens smiles n laughter n you will think its well worth it. We were also incharge of setting up the campfire. Due to budget, we just setup a small fire but the use of light sticks were enough to make the kids cause havoc. We have some songs n friendship dance n blar blar.... the campfire was like YEAH! Both the volunteers n kids were having fun. We even have a water bomb fight, but mi n my frends were totally dry. Too bad its not so for the rest. Heehee... Ultimately the whole camp was a success, we've know afew more friends there too. Mi n another friend even found our primary school mate which we've lost touch there. Happening isnt it?!
