Been there, done that. its my third AHM in a roll after i ORDed from the army. doneED! yet aother 21km. somehow i dont know why i keep doing things lidat. Whenever its time to register forfuns, i just do it without thinking, then when its time to run, i end up having all those negative thoughts on my mind asking me why did i do such a thing, making myself suffer like that. In th end, i did finish, got that sense of fulfillment, but not so as i did the first time round. think more or less getting used to it all. Somethings to point up on this year's AHM. The shirt is great as compared to the last 3 years, but the route was the worst comparatively as well. improvement in design but lacks in planning. Why must you all plan a route which is filled with mud and soil and uneven grounds... do you think the route is too plain and simple and not much of a challenge for us? must you make it more challenging by building uneven tar roads with muddy soil at the sides and water puddles. whatever. on a side note, got slightly choked by a banana they give out along the race. stupid me! haiz... Runs for this year... finished salcony passion run, mizuno run, ahm, coming up are nike run, kpe n standchart to end the list.....
After the run, went to suntec to relax ourselves for awhile. its the first time i found out got this lunch buffet at nett price 12.80 for main course got porridge and kuay chap, then you can get as many side dish as you want, be it egg, veg, meat fish whatever, dont know what to say, but the food's not bad considered the price, at suntec somemore. below is just one of the many servings i ate that day.
stupid day doesnt end with just the nice lunch. need to go collect nike run race pack after that, which make me super tired and super mad. got super long queue of 3+ hrs before i can get to the counter. no place to sit, long queue, raining somemore, then some part of the queue super stuffy, plus super tired after the ahm in the morning... What could be worse... Luckily i didnt go there alone. got afew friends there to go with me after ending ahm, else i'll die of boredom.
