My~ Driving~ License~

YES! Finally, after 2 attempts to get my driving license, today i'm proud to say I GOT IT!!! The feeling when i first entered the test room, it was just the same as when i enter the examination hall for my 'A's lvl. I felt tensed up and stressed... (-_-") shivering in the aircon room. When all the testees had arrived, the briefing commences. After a while, the briefing ended and the testers come one by one to call their testees, and one by one the testees go off leaving me in the room. By the time i knew it, i was the only one left in the room and the rest of the testees had gone for their test. I became even more tensed up then. Click~ click~ i watch the second goes on my watch. The tension is unbearable. The whole room felt so still and motionless that i couldn't endure the stillness. Alas, after 5 minutes, my tester has finally arrived. As he called for my name, i felt a sense of relaxation yet tension. Contradicting, but true. I felt relaxed as i finally can end the suffering in that waiting room, but i felt tensed up as it was now my turn to embrace what the tester had prepared for me. Once i sit onto the driver seat, every gulp of air i breathe in seems so heavy. I checked the gear, seat belt, side mirror, rear mirror everything. And off i go to the circuit road. Luckily, i had another lesson with my instructor in the early morning 6.30am for my final circuit lesson, so i still feel confident in the various obstacles. With tremendous skill and alittle bit of luck, i conquered the circuit without any problem. Next is the course part, which is where i failed in the last time i take my test. Throughout the course, i try to make sure the testor was in a comfortable position, without any jerking of the car, or landing the car in a panic situation due to me. Luckily, the road condition favours me.. without any sudden situation arising. And because of that, my driving test ended up with a pass. Yahoo~~!

tHAILANd

finally got time to carry on my last post which stop at the thailand adventures! My battalion went to thailand for one whole month. Sianz..... probably because most of the time spent there are training. Of course there are times when we could rest - CANTEEN!!! Thats the only place of relaxation for us in camp. The canteen there is like a row of shop houses, consisiting of 1 laundry shop, 4 food stalls with 2 'trannys', 1 mini mart, 2 drink stalls, 2 lan shops and 4 gift shops with 2 kawaii thai girls. Seems like a fun place to be in.... but after awhile its like we're doing the same stuff over and over again... haiz... what can we do, there nothing else to do... Then, theres the out field training which is unbearable.

Training wise i think its acceptable, but its the scourching sun thats making us restless for days and days. But, we survived, not only the training but the ATEC final evaluation as well. Proud of our platoon, proud to be part of it.

We had a mega happy hour dinner in camp during our ending phase of training. My platoon not only have fun there, we totally went wild and trashed the place. Broken bottles everywhere, alot of people were soaked with pepsi coke etc... All these thanks to our dear dennis for being drunk. Even chen chen, the most calm specialist in our platoon went freaking wild and dance non stop. He still insist that he is not drunk after the event ended. Hahaha... the truth is, he is totally drunk! After all the fun times and hard times we've gone through, everything is coming to an end.
Next is the Recreation and Relaxation period of our trip. We went for afew of the tourism spot of thailand and bought afew stuff. During the journey from place to place, the whole bus of singaporean listened to thai techno music and started moving with its rhythm, some even sing the thai lyrics... duhh.... there was a funny atmosphere as no one understand what the lyrics really meant anyway. It was a reasonably fun trip throughout. Lastly, i must recommend the mango rice, pattayh and mango freeze. For those that are going to thailand in the future, you all must go and try. Next is Bon Voyage, back to singapore.

BACK to HOMELAND

Yeah!!! After one whole month of staying in thailand, i'm finally BACK! Although its only one month of training in thailand, i was starting to miss my family, my friends and all the stuff that could only be found in s'pore. Its fun exploring the rural areas of thailand during training and those tourist attractions during the RnR period, but if asked to stay there for a longer period of time? no no no........ It's nice to look look see see and explore, but i feel rooted to singapore though. Anyway, just to let all my friends know i'm back in town and can call me out anytime becoz i'm quite free till further notice.... Yawn~~ Just landed not long ago , so i shall stop here for now, next time then carry on telling about my thailand trip........ ZZZzzzz.......
