New Look

After 2 months plus of not getting a haircut after i ORD, my hair is starting to look just like a caveman's. So i decided to get a haircut this fri, which is just now. Met up with norman at tampines to look for a suitable saloon to cut our hair and set a new look for both of us. searched the whole of tampines mall and century square, found several saloons and afew 10 dollar cut shops, but we ended up in the saloon 'STORM'. Reason? simple, 19.90! Both norman and me went in sat down, asked the stylist to cut a style which suits us and we just wait for them to do their job.... Done! i go in without an idea what to cut, but came out with something i think its nice.



now the thing left for us to do is whether will we maintain that hairstyle or we just end up too lazy to style and back to the old hairdo.... who knows....

SUNBURNT!!!

WAHHH!!! I've been having sunburnt since i went to sentosa on sunday. my whole body's been red hot for 3 days le. Tried applying some baby lotion to cool my body, but end up my skin peeling off bit by bit. Now my back still feeling painful, especially my shoulder. WAHH!! cannot wear sling bag. damn pain. the skin starting to peel off le....

birthday part 3 hahaa...

seems never ending.... the celebration keeps on carrying on and on. well, no matter how many celebration i have, i still have fun in each n every one of it. This time, i juz plan to enjoy one whole sunday with my army friends that i never met for since ORDed. Actually not that long but around a month or so... Couldn't really invite the whole platoon coz i'll be too stressed out and broke... So i end up juz inviting my fellow ATGM n mortar specs. My plan was to enjoy the whole afternoon at sentosa, being under the sun. When we reach siloso beach, dont know why but some of the courts were actually empty, so we quickly settled on one and started playing. the weather was abit too sunny in the morning, but at least its not raining, thats good enough. Not long after we started playing volleyball, dan bangala lim did something only a someone like him could have done. He ran straight towards the ball and trip on one of the line which holds the net in place, and... one of the pole dropped, followed by the net. Later will show u all the pic of that bangala. must remeber him well. beware!!! he may just trip you!!! We remedied the problem, fixed the net, but unsure how long it can withstand the impact of us striking on the net, we decided to shift the the adjecent court since theres another empty court.bottom right = bangala

there were fun, laughter, enjoyment as we play and it lasted till around 4 plus in the evening. We went to bathe after that. Suddenly, after bathing, Kevin find that his wallet is missing... The whole group immediately tried searching from the toilet-volleyball court-beach tram station, in the end we even end up reporting at the ranger station. A happy event turned sad for kevin, but he still try to join us in the happy atmosphere. thanx! later we went to the fish & co at the glasshouse for dinner, and chit chatting session started... everyone ordered their own food and also three sharkie freeze to share.

It was at the end when the food finished that the cake came out. I'm surprised, coz i dont know when they went to buy the cake. And there it was where i was crowned fairy again by my army friends, made to stand on the chair by the staff there and made to hold my wand..... they even sang out loud 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FAIRY~' (-_-") of course the other tables were looking here, but whatever.... certainly memoriable in a way. After that, i open the prez n there it was...

We dispersed after that due to work commitment by some of the people.

my 21st birthdae celebration (part 2)

this saturday is my 2nd 21st celebration. the first one is with my frens at jc and those known thru tfsc. today, its just a dinner outing at marche. we meet at suntec marche at 6pm, but as it would happen everytime, not everyone's on time. not to say i was exactly on the dot also. hee... in fact i was abit late myself. Well, by 6.30, majority of the people had arrived, so we proceed to inside of marche. Oh yah, this outing is not juz to celebrate my birthday onli but we are going to have a threesome birthday celebration.
Another two of my secondary frens king kok and andy ang were there to celebrate their birthday with me also. Well, i dont know whether its consider 'sua gu' or not, but its my first time going marche today. The way they order food is quite unique. Anyway, most of the frens there are old frens that havnt meet up in a while, so we just keep on chatting non stop while savouring the food there. Nice! Got alot to talk about... the past, current happening etc... Just keep talking non stop. It was about an hour plus later that the last person of our gathering had arrived. Its the super late king terry! As we wait for him to finish his meal, we keep ordering drinks coz too thristy due to alot of chit-chatting.
It was the 107 years old mineral water that was most 'memoriable'. THE TASTE SUX!!! It was like the water was put their for 107 years without people drinking for a reason. YUCK! We left the water untouched after sampling a sip each. Later was the arrival of the cake. Although, its a celebration of 3 guys 21st birthday, the cake was just 'not that big' after all. I dont mind its size, but just feel that its not enough for everyone to eat their fill.
Well, in the end everyone got a share, so all ends well. Later we plan to go play bowling, but all the lanes are full and theres a long waiting list, so we forget the idea. Tried to think of other place, but the time's getting late and people start to disperse bit by bit, so we just end the gathering as it is. HAPPY! all ends well.

Buffalo Opening

Today, i went for the opening of the buffalo david bitton branch at marina square. It was overcrowded with celebrities and other spectators etc... Among them were recently very popular artisties like junyang, kelly, leon, singapore idol finalists maia, daphne and alot others etc... looks very glamourious. Even got its own mini fashion show with models doing the catwalk... Looks happening, don't know why i'm there in the first place also... Just accompanying my dad to go there cos the owner of that shop knows my dad through business. Felt left out there... Haiz... these kinda place dont realli fit me in. Whatever! In the end, manage to left there in one piece.

names names names......

Haiz... i wonder why... how come since dont know when, people started giving me different names. From since i could remember, some of my friends in secondary started calling me names like tan ah teck because of the popular comedy series then 'under one roof'. Next, when i went to JC, that name was no longer in use because the end of the series also marks the end of my ah teck days. My JC buds just call me teck cause its simple and easy to pronounce. Others i just ask them to call me tecky cause its easier to remember then chin teck and it sounds friendlier too. All these was still OK, fine. Weird names start to appear when i enter army. After being with me 24 hrs a day and 5 days a week every week, they decided to name me 'fairy' cause i always got the blur blur look when i do things. Later, they brand me as a full fledged 'fairy' by saying everything i do as "its a fairy thing"... (-_-") For more info on the fairy can see my first post. It was until recently that another weird name popped out of nowhere. 'Toots'... know what it is? I also dont know, but the definition from the net quote as follows -"Dictionary: Description of toots: NOUN: Slang Babe; sweetie." (-_-") X 10 .......... Even found a restaurant named 'toots' and is started on the year 1985, same year as i was born in.... (-_-") X 99 dont know what to say anymore

let the unhappiness be gone with the wind, the merry n memorable moments remain everlasting. always think of the bright side of life. forget the unhappiness and store the happy moments deep in my heart. thanx for all the concern for my birthday celebration, i'm ok. another happy news to share with all my friends. i just receive my driving license from the mail today. Yahh!!!

my 21st birthday(part 1)

After planning for afew weeks, this day has finally arrived. Not my actual birthday, but my early 21st birthday celebration. I plan to celebrate my birthday over afew occasions where i could spend time with my different groups of friends. And the first party is on 1st april, which is yesterday, where i would meet with my classmates from JC and friends which i made in last year children camp. I start to invite them about one to two weeks ago, and majority of them reply saying 'OK' or 'depends,will try to come' sorta answers. I felt glad. I carry on booking the chalet and catering for the amount of people coming. Also invited my family to come. However, afew days before my celebration, people started replying me saying sorry they cannot make it to the celebration due to different reasons. I dont blame them, everyone got their own schedule, but i still feel sad though. Maybe its because of the sad news i keep hearing over the few days then, i end up forgetting to update those that are coming for my celebration the details... duhh... sorry (-_-") Finally, it was that day, 1st April. I happily prepared the chalet and stuff and wait for my friends to come. My buddies arrived early during the afternoon to spent time with me, cancelling their other appointments like tutions that day. I felt touched deep within my heart.
However, that aside, my handphone had been receiving msgs throughout the whole afternoon, but most of it was sad news. another 5-6 friends said they cannot make it to my celebration. My heart was starting to crack. As i look at the other chalets adjacent to mine, most had a reasonably large group with them, but mine was like..... Only my family and the few buddies of mine. As day turn to night, the remaining of my friends was coming in bit by bit, mending my already cracked heart. Although the group wasn't big, but i'm felt happy. It was my first time organising my own birthday party. I'm really grateful for each and everyone of you that took your time to come to my birthday celebration. It was coincidental that jianyang's friend's friend was holding a birthday party only afew unit away from mine, so we mixed around abit and treated each other a slice of our birthday cake. Overall, i had a really memoriable day. Thanx everyone. (especially sherlyn for closing the door, helping the guys close me in for the birthday 'tao po' and birthday 'bash', and those guys that execute it.)
