Subcom Appreciation Night

Just another event of my hall 12 called SubCommitte Appreciation Night. Nothing much to elaborate, just an organised meal at olio dome at suntec with video screening of clips of all the fellow sub-committe members in their candid moments while doing their job. Then, after that is the draggy moment of prize presentation for this and that, quite alot till it became boring. At least its a break from the stressful hall surroundings. Its a different feeling when you are out of hall. Just hope we could have events like this every now and then, without the task of us doing the planning work though. Haha... Its th only event until now that the subcoms dont need to do any work but enjoy. Opps, correction, its all the work are tasked to publication subcom to make the video in the shortest amount of time.

Some Grumblings...

last week had been nothing but endless studies... and i'm lagging behind the module by 2 weeks at least for every subjects. Why is this so... I need to buck up more! today is monday, the start of the recess week, still got whole lot more of stuff need to be done during this week, endless projects, reports and lotsa catching up need to be done. Also, need to use this time to meet up with friends which i never get the chance to meet up nowadays coz i'm spending 5 out of 7 days in hall in school. Wonder if there really will be outing anyway. All are lazy bums... No one bother to organise outings coz its troublesome. I give them the idea to meet, they push it back to you to organise, what to do. Everyone's busy with sch now that sch starts again. Before we knew it, this sem is already halfway gone. Wonder where the time went... Alots of 'wonder's to ponder about. Dont know what i have been doing this sem either. Just hope i could catch up the lag in studies in this recess week. the rest got no time to ponder for now. We'll just see how.....

168 Outing

Wah!!! tonight hall 12 is having a chinese new year dinner at jumbo! a 10 course dinner celebration! But... the menu isnt what you would call appealing. Every dish is like so minimum... Didnt really make the evening enjoyable. Luckily, the companionship makes the evening filled with fun and laughter! Coz its a gathering of 100 over people in hall to rest and relax chit chat all the way. What was even better is we went on a supper trip after the CNY dinner. From kallang, we headed for cassarina curry! Mmm... prata shop... But, it had to close when we reach there. So we ended up heading towards jurong to eat prata since we will be returning to NTU after that. Thats when our star gazing trip started. Sitting at the back of the lorry for an hour plus watching the stars, the sky and more army camps... the road they take was not the most popular highways. The lorry ended up travelling on alot of isolated minor roads that only consist of camps... And the driver ended up going the wrong way... We bypass the road to NTU 3 times!!! Ahhh!!! My butt even become numb from the trip... The good thing is when we reach the place, the prata is shiok! Yummy! Next time shall go again when have time, although i should be cutting down on supper.

As always, its my 22nd year of not celebrating valentine day! If i'm still cheerful as always after 22nd years of bachelor hood, everyone else should feel blessed and be merry today! May all couple are blessed with lotsa loves n those that r still single score well in the romance department too! =)

Wah!!! As i was browsing through my friend's blogs online, i found that more and more online shops are arising from blogs. maybe becoz internet is an easy way to access what you want from the comfort of your home, and for those that are students, they will be facing the computer everyday. So might as well take this chance to promote items and earn an extra buck. Besides, its free to set up an online shop from your own blog! Some are selling their own second hand stuff which are just like new and some are like selling designer stuff or brand new fashionable clothing from overseas. All kinds of stuff are available... All that i know currently are for ladies stuff... maybe becoz they like online shopping more! who knows...

Cya Chuan Liang

afew old friends came back during this december holidays, and i was happy to have spent afew moments with them. As we grow older, time tends to be shorter always, and we always dont have enough time for everything. I'm just glad for the moments spent together was fun and enjoyable!
